Frens members can propose private investment opportunities for the syndicate to review.

The main rule is simple:

Do not recommend a project unless you would seriously consider investing in it yourself.

We are looking for high-quality opportunities, not random deal flow.

What to submit

If you know of a strong project, company or private allocation, please share the key details with the Frens team.

Ideally we are targeting well established tech companies (Series C funding and onwards). When referring a deal, key info we are looking for would be a deck or investor materials, info around the valuation and allocation size available, and your relationship to the opportunity (connection to the company or seller).

Submit the opportunity here: Project Submission Form

You can also DM Russell directly if the opportunity is sensitive.

If you have access to an allocation

If you have access to an allocation that is not otherwise directly available to the syndicate, Frens may consider bringing the opportunity to members.

If Frens proceeds and members invest, you may be eligible for a scouting / referral fee based on the final deal size.

Indicative fee range: 1% of the deal size, depending on the quality of the opportunity, your role in sourcing it, and the economics of the transaction.

Final terms must be agreed before the deal is shared with members.

If you know a good project but do not have allocation

If you want to invest in a company or project but don’t have an allocation, DM someone from our team. If we get enough interest and have high conviction about the deal, we’ll try to bring it to the syndicate.

What happens next

After receiving the project details, the Frens team will review the opportunity and decide whether it is worth further diligence.

Submitted projects will only be shared if they pass our review.
